Wisteria
Wisteria. I started this oil painting in 2016 and started recording myself painting it in 2017. It took until 2020 to complete.

I almost entirely filled a 2 TB hard drive with these videos back then. Since it would have taken a lifetime to upload, I decided to speed up the videos to 10 times normal speed. Its 10X, so to play it back at 2X real life speed there is a video button on 3speak at the bottom right of each video. Click in the dropdown that says “.25 speed”.

I actually started experiments with medium on a previous painting. I implemented these discoveries in this painting.
It was destroyed in the haze of covid and because of the surface it was painted on, a purely experimental one that turned bright orange over the 4 years of painting on it.
